Hold the Beans Please

This isn't meant to be a political blog, but sometimes I just can't help myself. More accurately, sometimes government can't help but to get themselves on here.

If you didn't see this post by Steve, it talks about possible gas tax hikes.

If that wasn't bad enough, now there is this. They want to tax livestock because they put out greenhouse gases!!!! If you ask me, the most dangerous gas to mankind is emanating from politicians these days.

  2. Bill - barfing doesn't release methane, so you're safe.

This is just another example of poorly worded legislation being exploited. The Clean Air Act was intended to restrict the man-made emissions from factories and machinery. The naturally produced gases are essential to the survival of the planet and designed by God for their specific purposes. It's the extreme increase of the man-made versions that throw off the balance of His design.

Cows and pigs have been around longer than we have - day 6 to be exact, and they have been releasing "greenhouse gases" the entire time.

Continuing down that path will only further de-stimulate the economy, that's for sure.
